Palau

Jamaira Richard is from the beautiful island of Hatohobei State, Palau, the south-westernmost state of Palau. She is based out of the Helen Reef Resource Management Program Office of the Hatohobei State Government. As the intern at the Helen Reef Program, Jamaira is assisting the Education and Outreach Officer with the Program's outreach activities, social media updates and other office tasks. Jamaira's main project is to work with the youth of Hatohobei State to contribute to the youth component of the Helen Reef Resource Management Program Management Plan.

Jamaira is passionate about making a positive impact and she aspires to learn more about conservation of both land and sea. She hopes that her work during her internship contributes to positive conservation impacts both on Helen Reef and Hatohobei State.
