Memory Jayme Rudolph

FSM - Chuuk

Memory Jayme Rudolph comes from the beautiful island of Weno, Chuuk, FSM! Memory graduated from Xavier High School, and is currently enrolled at the Caroline College Pastoral Institute, a proud partnering institute with the Chaminade University of Honolulu. For her internship, Memory is based out of the Chuuk Environmental Protection Agency, mentored under Brad Mori, the Chuuk EPA Director. Due to her background as a teacher’s assistant, during her internship, she will be working with primary school students and teachers. She hopes to spread awareness on climate change impacts on our islands and resources. She plans to spark actions in the students to be mindful of their actions on their environment and learn to be more sustainable.

By doing this with young children, she hopes to raise awareness and make an impact on them to be more conscious of their precious environment and resources, and to raise awareness on the impacts that climate change has on our lives, our islands and our natural resources. This way, she hopes to ensure that these students in turn spread awareness to their peers, family, and community to work together to create a sustainable future.
