Miss Andrea Roberto - MCYC CNMI

Please welcome our MCYC from the beautiful island of Saipan, CNMI, Miss Andrea Hope J. Roberto!

Andrea was born and raised in Saipan. She graduated with an A.S. in Natural Resources Management from the Northern Marianas College in 2021, and where she is also currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Business Management. As CNMI's MCYC for this year, she is based at the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance where she is mentored by a former MCYC Miss Jolly Ann Cruz, the Program Manager at MINA.

As a Micronesia Challenge Young Champion (MCYC), she will focus on MINA’s Community Recycles Plastic (CRP) program, which aims to introduce a circular economy mindset in our island communities using 3-in-1 plastic upcycling machines. These machines convert recyclable plastics collected from local organizations and schools into various usable products.
